We will follow up — but not the way you’re dreading. No bot-written drip, no quota-chasing. If we reach out it’s because there’s something genuinely useful for you — an answer we owe you, a resource, a relevant update — written by a person who knows your context. Every message has a one-click way to say “stop,” and we honor it immediately. You stay in control; we just try to be helpful. Most of the people we talk to are still deciding whether Clarida is even right for them, and that’s completely fine.

What’s the demo actually like?

Usually two steps. First, a complete guided tour of the platform on our demo data — so it runs smoothly and we can show you everything: the free tools, the full qPCR workflow from experiment design through analysis to report, and the workspace side (members, sample and assay libraries). We know that one cold, so it’s a fluid walkthrough rather than a fumble. Then, if it looks promising, we’ll set up a second session on your own data — we’ll just ask you to send it over beforehand so we can make it count. Ask anything and interrupt whenever in either one; and if Clarida isn’t right for your lab, we’ll tell you. We’re founder-led and early, so this runs both ways — tell us what’s missing for your work and it goes straight to the people building Clarida, where it can actually shape what comes next.

Question 3

Will I get pushed to buy when we talk pricing?

Accepted Answer

No — and you don’t even need the call to see what Clarida costs. The plans are right there on our pricing page, and there’s a free tier you can start on without talking to anyone. So when we do talk pricing, it’s not a negotiation or a mystery quote: it’s us helping you work out which plan actually fits your lab’s size and usage — and flagging the cheaper option, or the free tier, if that’s the honest answer. And if the standard plans don’t cover what you need — bespoke work, add-ons, custom limits or terms — that’s exactly the kind of thing we’ll scope with you on the call. Nothing to decide on the call; take it back to your team or your budget holder. And because we’re early and founder-led, your input carries real weight — if the way we price doesn’t match how your lab actually works, tell us, and it can genuinely shape where the plans go.

Who will I talk to?

One of the two founders — the people who actually built the platform, not a sales rep reading from a script. Either Jan Hellemans, who co-authored the MIQE guidelines and created the qbase algorithm, or Ward Hellemans, the former product manager for qbase+. Either way, you’re talking to someone who built the thing — and knows the qPCR workflow inside out. For follow-up conversations that call for deeper scientific input, we can bring in our scientific advisor Jo Vandesompele, the author of the geNorm algorithm.

Do I need to prepare anything?

Nothing is required — but a little context makes the call sharper, and it depends what you’re here for: A demo: just show up — we run the first one on our own demo data, and a session on your own data can come later (we’ll sort that at the end of the first call). Pricing: it helps to have a rough sense of how many experiments you run — per month, quarter, or year — and your team size, so we can point you to the plan that fits. A collaboration: come with a rough idea of what you’re imagining — an integration, a research collaboration, or co-marketing — so we can dig into the right thing.
